About CMDSoft
CMD Software (CMDSoft) is a company established in Turkey in 2016 that develops software and automation projects in CAD/CAM, CNC, motion control, and automation systems.
We specialize in developing CAD/CAM embedded CNC interfaces according to user requirements. Our expertise includes marble cutting, sponge cutting, aluminum profile cutting, plasma/laser cutting, and general automation systems.
From the very beginning, Eyeshot has provided us with all our CAD needs, simulation and 3D modeling tools in a user-friendly structure. It plays a particularly important role in ensuring our systems have a flexible structure by opening many CAD file formats.

Challenge
Before using Eyeshot, we had to use our own developed functions to open CAD files, but managing the current formats and debugging required too many resources.
Furthermore, once we started using CAD modeling and simulation tools, we were able to perform the targeted operations very easily. It is very helpful in keeping up with the latest technologies with constantly arriving new versions.
Solution
We have used the Eyeshot solution in many of our applications, the main ones being:

- Two different simulation engines: the first is online machine simulation, and the second is offline toolpath simulation

- 2D and 3D drawing tools
- Modification tools such as Copy, Move, Rotate, Mirror, etc.
- Toolpath simulation
- Industry-based solutions: Marble cutting, foam cutting, aluminum profiling, laser cutting, pipe bending, 3D printing, carpet weaving (Robo Tufting), woodworking, quilting, glass grinding, etc.
Results
When we started using Eyeshot, the time we allocated for 3D processing decreased significantly, and we were able to focus more on the details of the application.
Thanks to its flexible use, 100% .NET compatibility, and stability, we have no problems whatsoever during both the coding phase and customer installations.
Since 3D modeling and CAD technologies are kept up to date, we don't need to allocate extra time for this.
